This experience gave him a profound understanding of the devastation of war and the importance of fostering peace by emphasizing common grounds over differences.
Inspiration and Values
As a native of Persia, Abolfazl is deeply inspired by the words of the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi. One of his guiding principles comes from Rumi’s poem: “This is your journey and yours alone, others can walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.” He is further inspired by the words of the 14th-century Persian poet Hafez: “None dies whose heart by love is ever living, the clear proof of this, the world archives are giving.”
